Frank J Reda
Bluetooth has completely stopped working in my 2012 Edge with the bottom of the line, MyFord (I think that's what they call it) radio. I have tried multiple system resets and have reverted to factory defaults repeatedly, but it won't allow me to turn Bluetooth on, hence I can't attach any BT devices. My question is, where does bluetooth live? Is it part of the radio? Should I replace the radio, or is there some other component separate from the radio that I should be looking at.I appreciate any guidance... fordtech1
Have you disconnected the battery for 5 min? Try that then give it a few mins to reboot and try again. The sync module is a stand alone module called the APIM.
Frank J Reda
Awesome recommendation fordtech1. I did as you suggested and BT came back. You saved me a bunch of money and aggravation. Many thanks to you!

fordtech1
You are welcome. You may want to see if you have a sync update. I bet an update will fix this from happening again. Edited July 24, 2015 by fordtech1
