My step-daughter rear ended an suv with her 2010 Focus last night and only walked away shakened up and a bruised left arm. Car was totaled..air bag went off...the car protected her and saved her from a serious injury. I am currently on my 4th focus...and love it. ice-capades Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Very glad to hear that your step daughter walked away from the accident with such minor issues but your thanks to the MAP union brothers and sisters is somewhat misplaced. The line workers at MAP may assemble the vehicles but are not responsible for Ford's vehicle safety engineering. Give some credit to those that engineer and design all those safety features that allowed her to walk away without more serious injuries!
