the truth Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 I've had an Edge on order since 5/18/15 and still no build date. Anyone no of any production delays or holds ? The vehicle is a normal equipped SEL with 2.0 engine not with the drive pkg. 51D that I know is not available until 9/15. Help ! Local dealership has no information on delay. ice-capades Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 There are a lot of factors involved in vehicle scheduling including commodity issues, which don't seem to be a problem with your order, and most importantly your Dealer's 2015 Edge allocation for scheduling. Even so, Ford routinely makes exceptions, whenever possible, to the weekly commodity issues in order to get customer retail orders scheduled for production. Retail orders for the 2015MY Edge started scheduling on June 4th so you'll need to contact your Dealer further and press the for answers.
