TIGER66
Let's get the message to the upper ranks of the UAW: the workers left in the US want to get paid. Don't fall for that shit. If ford has decided to move it they are going to do it anyway. UAW: shoe me the MONEY!!!!!!!!!
fordd
I don't think the issue is saving the Focus for MAP. That ship appears to have sailed. The issue seems to be what will now go into MAP. It is a huge bargaining chip for Ford if the UAW and its members do not want to see another plant mothballed in the U.S.

littlecountry
Work is already planned to replace the lost product , Ford is just using this to convince us that we don't need a raise
focusfrank
Work is already planned to replace the lost product , Ford is just using this to convince us that we don't need a raise And the IAUW is going to tell all of it's members how it secured a new product for this plant and saved all of these jobs. And will tell everyone that FMC wanted to mothball this plant. So sorry about no raise but we saved all of these jobs so enjoy the signing bone us and vote yes on this contract.

ray_2525
I agree. I think Ford has plans for MAP. That's a good plant. Good location. Something is going in there.
tooltime
Hopefully the potential MAP investment that will be negotiated does not come at the expense of plant producing a current product.

It's going to come at the expense of the employees! Want investment , be happy with your current pay! No raise in exchange for product!
