StangBang
Meh people are sold on the new. Lot's of people are moving from previous generation models. The same thing will happen to the Camaro when the updated version is released. The Challenger has only been facelifted one time but it continues to sell because of Mopar loyalty and there just being a third choice selling with it's own unique styling and attributes. Moosetang
A lot of people are going to mistake the new Camaro for a facelift of the old, which might cost them a bit of that typical new-car bump.
jpd80
And GM fans have been on a giant ego trip that since 2010, Zeta Camaro sales have been beating Mustang but neatly leave out the fact that Mustang was already older than Doctor Who by that time. Are they now so needy that they have to beat Mustang at every turn? Edited July 5, 2015 by jpd80

GT-Keith
@JPD That's true, however, the 2015 Mustang has almost erased Camaro's sales lead since going on sale a year ago. Another 2-3 months of strong sales and the Mustang will be in the lead for marketshare from gen 5 to gen 6. Deliveries since 2009: Camaro....524,864Mustang...512,038 Over the past year, the Mustang has been averaging 4500 more sales every month. In three months, the Mustang would have erased Camaro's marketshare.
J-150
Why are we keeping count? Didn't Alan Mulally lay down the law that profits were more important than sales crowns?

I totally agree. I struggle to identify any significant changes in styling.
GT-Keith
Yes and thankfully Ford has higher margins than GM with just half the brands.

SoonerLS
Didn't Alan Mulally lay down the law that profits were more important than sales crowns? If you're talking about business cases, sure it is. If you're shooting the bull on the Internet, not so much.
J-150
You can have both... Don't know if anyone other than Toyota has pulled this off.
