akirby
Not a fan of the hockey stick lamps front and rear, but the rest is ok.
grbeck
It's okay, and will sell well. It's better looking than the current SRX, in my opinion, and Cadillac hasn't had any trouble moving those.
rmc523
The grille reminds me of the refreshed Subaru Tribeca. And I'll echo the headlight comments - I don't like them on the CTS or this. The back end makes me think of that Buick Encore. But I also agree, they'll sell plenty of them.
Dave-S
I like the way it looks.
bzcat
MKX looks better but I do like the XT5 as well. Both are better looking than Lexus RX.
akirby
Almost everything is better looking than any new Lexus. Can't stand the predator grille.
rmc523
Almost everything is better looking than any new Lexus. Can't stand the predator grille. Agreed. And it keeps getting bigger and uglier with each new model
J-150
DO. NOT. WANT. Dear god is that thing ugly. Ugly like every Caddy of the past 20 years.
ehaase
Not my cup of tea, but it will outsell anything Cadillac builds off the Alpha and Omega platforms
jpd80
This and the Escalade will help pay the bills at Cadillac...
sullynd
Looks very bloated like the lambdas do.
rmc523
Looks very bloated like the lambdas do. I think that illusion comes from the grille being pushed up high and upright on the front end coupled with the undersized and oddly shaped headlights leaving a lot of real estate between the upper and lower grilles. And moving to the back, the slim tail lights add to the bloated look because of the expanse of sheet metal everywhere.
twintornados
When better Cadillac's are built, they'll also label them as Buick's, Chevrolet's, GMC's, and Opel's.... Edited June 27, 2015 by twintornados
silvrsvt
Is this the SRX replacement or what? I know the last gen SRX was based on the Equinox or is this the new caddy based on the Traverse?
PREMiERdrum
Is this the SRX replacement or what? I know the last gen SRX was based on the Equinox or is this the new caddy based on the Traverse? The is the SRX replacement... built off a reworked Theta platform.
bzcat
The is the SRX replacement... built off a reworked Theta platform. I thought Theta platform is done? The compact Theta (Chevy Captiva, Buick Envision, Caddy XT3) will be using a version of the Delta III platform (Buick Envision is already on sale in China). The midsize Theta (Caddy SRX/XT5, Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain) are supposedly moving to SWB version Espilon III platform. The large Lambda (Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia) are moving to LWB version of Espilon III platform.

Theta and Lambda were said to be merging onto versions of Epsilon, but there looks to be enough unique for it to keep its designation. Much like Alpha, it sounds like there is still a great deal of uniqueness in these. Internally, they're calling it Theta.

I've been staring at that everytime I hit new posts hoping no one would say anything. Thanks. haha! Edit: Well go figure, I was able to change it. Internally, GM is referring to the XT5 platform as C1xx, or Chi I. It is the SUV version of upcoming Espilon III.

Right, they have new ENG codes under the Chi program, but from what I've been told it's more updated Theta than anything else.
