Anthony
Maybe it's the angle of the shot, but it looks as if the proportions have changed for production. The front wheel looks much closer to the main body (see the fender behind the wheel and where the A-pillar falls). It changes the entire dynamic and takes away from the "long hood" look which (IMHO) makes it look much less elegant. Are we sure this isn't a Taurus spy shot or a mule based on the current Taurus? (Looking at the side body sculpting) Edited June 20, 2015 by Intrepidatious
Harley Lover
I don't think it's the Taurus; compare the wheels of the concept to the mule, they appear to be the same. I agree with your observations regarding proportions - the changes I noticed the most are the higher beltline on the mule, and the taller greenhouse. Both changes are unfavorable visually versus the concept. Using the wheels as a reference, it was probably inevitable that the real world car wouldn't keep the proportions of the concept - the wheel/tire size versus the sheet metal is impossibly large on the concept, and probably shouldn't have been expected to be maintained. It's too bad, as that proportion gives the vehicle pizazz. Edited June 20, 2015 by Harley Lover

(Looking at the side body sculpting) Look at where the door handles are vs. the concept. That alone is a dead giveaway It also looks like they added some padding on the top of the door at the base of the window to give the illusion of a higher beltine and look disproportionate intentionally Edited June 20, 2015 by fuzzymoomoo
twintornados
Most likely a Taurus mule....the fact that it has the "fan style" rims seen on the Continental concept is meaningless.....rim styles are not brand exclusive any longer, and it is a "mule" after all... transitman
Also, the slope of the trunk, back end and bumper appear different.
RichardJensen
It's the Conti. In fact, it's the same prototype seen here: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1097944_2016-lincoln-continental-spy-shots

They have different wheels. *edit Scroll through the pictures, you will find the same car about halfway through. atomcat68
And if you look at the top, an MKZ like uber sunroof appears to be like the concept.
