littlecountry
You sure about that? You seem very naive. You got a lot to learn! You ask how many Tier 1 would vote for a forced buy down , it would be the same amount that would vote for a Tier 2 raise, NONE!!!!
littlecountry
And if it does and you don't like it....you should just quit. To many years vested to just quit, but you on the other hand that hardly has any time in and thinks you have been so wronged can quit, do us all a favor and exit the company
Tier2
To many years vested to just quit, but you on the other hand that hardly has any time in and thinks you have been so wronged can quit, do us all a favor and exit the company I don't think I've been wronged. Everything has went like I expected. Who do you think got you that pension your vested in? You knew when you started that the UAW bargained every four years, so as you would say if you don't like what they get you...then quit. daveyb
Didn't the last 2 contracts pass without any raises on them for tier 1? And also on those contracts that both passed look at what else tier 1 gave up. So don't say they won't vote yes on a contract that screws them because that comment is wrong, the last 2 contracts passing has proved that. It's true. We kinda like screwing ourselves. It's getting to be a tradition! So don't say we won't screw ourselves, kid, cause we already have! And got no pay raise to prove it!
dark270
ford will be going last, they will not be the strike target, if there is one.
lastmanstanding
If the UAW picks FCA, it will be because they want to strike. If they pick Ford, it's because they want a contract. They may pick GM now because of all the money they just made, but they are all rookies there, so I doubt it..... I say Ford will be the target and settle without strike............ I've never been right yet so.......

littlecountry
Chrysler will be picked because they want to get rid of the Two Tier wage system
focusfrank
Chrysler will be picked because they want to get rid of the Two Tier wage system The tier 2 wages are here to stay unfortunately you will never see that eliminated. Tier 2 wages might increase but you will never see them brought up to what tier 1 workers make. You heard what the IUAW said they "want to bridge the gap" NOT close it.
