Harley Lover
Not much new news from previous reports, although the rumor seems to be gathering more steam. The car would have 200+ mile range. I wonder if this car, if it's built, could be based on the same chassis that Ford is supposed to be planning for a bespoke hybrid: http://europe.autonews.com/article/20150325/ANE/150329928/automakers-race-to-double-the-driving-range-of-affordable-electric?cciid=email-ane-daily At least four major automakers — General Motors Co, Ford Motor Co, Nissan Motor Co Ltd and Volkswagen AG plan to race Tesla to be first to field affordable electric vehicles that will travel up to 200 miles (322 km) between charges. 630land
Will this be based on the Focus Mk IV platform?
Harley Lover
Ford is supposed to be developing a bespoke hybrid/PIH vehicle for later this decade. That vehicle would have a purpose built chassis, but one would have to think that the chassis would have have elements of the global C chassis in it. My guess is that this EV would share that hybrid/PIH chassis.
