nmsford Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 It really doesn't matter to me who runs for an elected position, as long as they know what they're doing. I have seen some tier 2 run for comm spots and have absolutely no clue about the contract. Then again I have seen MANY tier 1 comm men who have no idea WTF they're doing. My comm now doesn't have a clue. I'd put money on it that he's never even read the contract. In my opinion any person who wants to run for a committee job should have to take some kind of a test proving they have some basic knowledge of the contract. 75% of all comm men I know won elections on plant floor popularity, not because they're qualified to represent us.
