Anthony
http://www.autoblog.com/2015/03/19/2015-jeep-easter-safari-concepts-moab-official/ A yearly tradition, Jeep has unveiled seven new concepts that will participate in the 49th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT, in just a couple of weeks. This event is a sort of mecca for Jeep owners and enthusiasts, and like years past, FCA's off-road brand has prepared a slew of excellent new concepts that use a combination of production and prototype Jeep Performance Parts, from the folks at Mopar. These concepts are far more than just production Jeep vehicles with lift kits and off-road tires, though. What we have here are a number of fully baked, one-off SUVs that show the passion and dedication of Jeep's engineers. The Easter Jeep Safari takes place from March 28 to April 5. Here's a look at what'll be hitting the trails this year. ---- Here's the Wrangler concepts since nobody cares about any of the other ones: Jeep Chief Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder Jeep Staff Car Jeep Wrangler Africa Edited March 19, 2015 by Intrepidatious

akirby
Is that a Jeep Chief or the new Ford Bronco?
Anthony
Is that a Jeep Chief or the new Ford Bronco? Looks to be a throwback to the old (but gorgeous) Cherokee Chief. It does make me wonder what design the Bronco will take.

Anthony
Exhibit A: Boxy upright truck yes, but I'd say it's obvious the concept was patterned after the original Cherokee Chief. Now the original Cherokee Chief may have some styling attributes of the original Bronco, but even that might be pushing it. Have you seen these two side by side? The 70's Cherokee Chief was a monster (3 FEET longer!) compared to the original Bronco (and so is the concept). To put it in perspective: It's like when people say the Flex copied the styling of the Mini...sure, similar shapes, but in reality, the similarities are greatly outweighed by the differences. akirby
I was just saying there was a resemblance especially with that color. Nothing more.

London Bridges
This thing is an absolute beauty. Us at RareDelights.com are really looking forward to Jeep pushing this concept to production, however slim those chances may be. We decided to feature this badboy on our website. Check it out. http://bit.ly/1MYI4eM
silvrsvt
Hummer called and they want their rear end back, Red Responder!I love the Chief and the Staff car is pretty cool, but pretty much unsellable due to the lack of doors.
grbeck
Looks to be a throwback to the old (but gorgeous) Cherokee Chief. It does make me wonder what design the Bronco will take. No doubt the late Brooks Stevens and Dick Teague are looking down and smiling at the resemblance of the Jeep Chief concept to the original Jeep Cherokee. RichardJensen
Man, AMC and Chrysler design was so uneven in the late 60s/early 70s. How did the same company make this and this in the same year:
