I would expect very minor changes for the 2016MY Mustang, especially considering that Ford has yet to launch the car in Europe. Maybe a paint change or adding a heated steering wheel option but don't expect much. As for the former glass roof option, I'd be very surprised as the sales rate was very low.

If you're looking to order a 2015MY EcoBoost Premium Fastback you shouldn't see any problem with scheduling for the Automatic Transmission. There have been commodity issues lately with scheduling/production availability of the manual transmission EcoBoost series. As long as your ordering dealer has upcoming allocation for May production, you should expect the Order-to-Delivery time to be no longer than 6 weeks. Orders are being scheduled for production about 2-3 weeks from scheduling. The problem with the Flat Rock Assembly Plant is usually related to shipping as there's a long history of Mustang's being held at the plant after release due to rail car shortages and other issues.

Dealers are now doing their Wholesale/Allocation plans and commitment for May production.

The 2016 Mustang USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) is due to open on Monday so we'll have to wait for the new order guide to see if the 2016MY Mustang will get SYNC 3. Otherwise, there's a report on Autoblog.com that Ford will be offering a GT/CS California Special edition again.

Ordered my 2016 GT Premium on August 3. Ford advised in early September of an ETA at the dealer of 10/7/15. The dealer wanted to close September strong and found the car was at the Ford distribution point on 109/29/2015 and had Ford transport it and I bought it on 9/30/15, so short answer is 8 weeks from order to delivery. 9 weeks at tops...
