Deanh
TWO ISSUES I HAVE, LOVE THE VAN................BUT............the 2.0 eco should be in the Titaniums, AND whomever came up with the system to fold the back two rows flat needs to be shot...without doubt on of the worst implementations I have ever seen Ford utilize in ANY vehicle. Even worse than the Flex? The system in the Flex is ridiculous!
Deanh
I extend the invitation....the Flex is a BREEZE compared with the Transit Connect.....
Hugh
What is with the EB16 NOT availible with the wagon? Van, yes but a Ti wagon could use that option.

Hugh
How does the 'Chicken Tax' work with this?
RichardJensen
No chicken tax for a window van, as it's officially classed as a wagon, not a truck.
rmc523
Even worse than the Flex? The system in the Flex is ridiculous! Flex isn't difficult, it's just annoying if you have stuff in the well behind the 3rd row because you have to move everything. I remember playing with the seats in the TC at the auto show, and yeah, I do remember it being a several step process that took a couple minutes to figure out. I think the EB15 Available in all variants more of a priority than adding a higher power engine with little appeal outside of the USA. The seats are attrocious, but what do you expect from an adapted commercial van.
fordtech1
Although the current TC is so much better than the one it replaced, the seat folding and that cheap fiber board that makes a flat surface is ridiculous. First time I operated it I mumbled a few times, "this is some cheesy shit here".

None of the seat issues in the transit connect would be present in the Cmax7, but that shop has already sailed.

I feel like there's more headroom for the rearmost seats in TC vs Grand C-Max, plus more cargo room than C-max, even if the seats are a nightmare to fold down. I could be wrong, but I don't think the 2nd row folds down in the C-max.

I would not doubt that the TC is larger, but it is also much lighter quieter and more nimble vehicle.
Moosetang
I'm surprised by such love for the front end styling in that piece, I find the nose to be the least successful element of the new TC.

Really? I love it. And not just in the "not bad for a small work van" way, but in the "I would honest-to-God own a Titanium wagon as my daily driver" way. Its MUCH better then the last gen TC After reading this, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see someone do a TC ST or maybe even a TC RS when the Focus RS comes out. Well, yeah, it's not really difficult, just a pain with the different straps and steps. I do it so infrequently, I have to read the directions every time I do it! I do it so infrequently, I have to read the directions every time I do it! Haha that's bad. I've gotten to the point where I just leave the third row up with the seat backs folded flat and put stuff on them. I have the seat well behind the seats filled with stuff and it's too much of a pain to move it every time I want to go from one configuration to the other.
