tinmannick
Went to the dealer this week to check out Black Label Pricing. They want $7,000 - $8,000 for Black Label on the new MKX. This does not get you any equipment options over the base reserve model. You basically get a few more color options for exterior paint, a few more options for interior colors, personal delivery (which the dealer does for you when you buy any Lincoln) one detailing (cleaning which is probably worth $150.00) a year and other meaningless "perks". What is Lincoln thinking by offering this price gouging service? My dealer said they never sell Black Label cars.

Perhaps it's just a method to hasten the brand's demise.

The exterior paint and interior materials are not just different, they're significantly upgraded. Those perks that are meaningless to you are worth a lot to some buyers. It's not just personal delivery, they come to your home to help you order the vehicle, deliver it, pick it up for service which includes free maintenance including all wear items, etc. etc. It's basically 5 star concierge service on top of the upgraded appearance. It's not for everyone but it's not supposed to be. It's an experiment - if nobody buys it they'll lower the cost or reconfigure it or cancel it.
