Rinni59
Good Evening All! I need some help! :-( Of course problems happen on weekends when service departments are not opened. Yesterday I turned my car key to ACC on the ignition in the parking lot and wanted to listen to the radio as I always do. Sadly, I got the "Battery Saver" message on my screen. I figured it's time to change the battery. Took the car to a Good Year this morning to replace battery. However, message still appears. No other warnings. What could it be???? fordtech1
When the battery is replaced. The battery monitoring system needs to reset by a scan tool. Its a quick simple fix. Have your dealer reset it. Tell them you had the battery replaced and you need the BMS reset. Shouldn't be a issue.
