goinbroke2
Got back to work today after Christmas break and found out one of our f-450 plow trucks with a salter on the back blew an injector out of the engine. I took a look at it as I'm QA for the shop and with 17,304km's yup she blew the front left injector out of the hole. I was then told "same as the other one" Other one?? Yes one blew out at the first of Christmas break too! As we have only 10 or so of these I thought 20% is a pretty dang high number, why haven't I heard of this before? Anybody else ever hear of this happening? We have 2012/2013 f-450's with 6.7/auto on all. Thanks
bigbobsha
Happened to me twice within one week of the first one blowing. Ford towed and repaired the busted injector clamps both times under warranty. I replaced the other six and the 2 they replaced with the latest's part, the d version. I have to do my F 550 also, I don't want a fire. This should be recalled by Ford. It was only supposed to apply to the 2011 and early 2012's. You had a problem with a 2013? This was on my 2011 F 350 4x4 Edited September 24, 2015 by bigbobsha
