Hugh Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 My Taurus had it, My friends truck has it. I am not happy with the fact my Fiesta and now my Escape doesn't have a dead pedal. My foot is carving up the floor carpeting making it look terrible. All I wish for is looking at having this feature available across the board. bolt in blue Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 The WeatherTech all season mats I put in my Escape cover enough of the left side area that the carpet is protected where I rest my left foot. Although I'm not a 100% representative case as I switch which foot I use when driving frequently because of tendonitis in my right leg that gets angry if I drive too much, especially in stop and go traffic. They didn't "remove it" - it was never on the Kuga platform (I'm assuming). It's one of the things I don't like on our 2014 Titanium. ibme Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 I had a Taurus once as a loaner car. I hated that thing. In fact that alone was enough to make me not even consider ever owning one. I wasnt comfortable using it because it was actually to high for me so I had to position my foot to the right of it which made me feel even more uncomfortable.
