RichardJensen
I hope the production model isn't that blurry.
jasonj80
I hope the production model isn't that blurry. Yeah, bad pics, the video is HD but I'm not tech savy enough to get the images out of the video. looks like an MKC up front and the Edge in the back

fuzzymoomoo
I do to. I'm gonna have to keep my eyes open and possibly phone camera ready. Still looking to see if I can spot what I think is that GT mule I saw a few months ago
jesster1228
Did some screen caps for you. Looks like the headlamps are not projectors on the 2nd one with the bigger wheels.

pictor
It could be the camera perspective but it looks longer and lower to me
rmc523
The headlights could be LEDs, which would allow for a more unique shape, perhaps in line with the concept.
akirby
Don't forget they've already shown the concept which looks to be about 95%+ of the actual model. http://www.lincoln.com/2016-mkx-concept/
NNRT
Side view mirrors look like the current model - not even close to the concept ! (could be temporary) Wonder about day running lights - (LED's) - Amber like the concept ? hope so !
joseodiaga4
thanks for the video.....the X looks good! Edited December 14, 2014 by joseodiaga4
bzcat
It could be the camera perspective but it looks longer and lower to me Longer yes, probably by at least 6 inches to make sure 3rd row seats fit. Lower? Maybe... but probably just an optical trick because the current MKX is a very square car and the new one is longer. akirby
I thought only the 3 row version had the longer sheetmetal and the 2 row was essentially the same as the current one. Don't even know if we'll get a 3 row version - those might be China only.

(could be temporary) Wonder about day running lights - (LED's) - Amber like the concept ? hope so ! The mirrors don't look like the current ones at all - the current ones are mounted by the window. These new ones are mounted on the door, like the MKZ and MKC. I imagine they'll be very similar to this on the MKC:
grbeck
If it's anything like the new MKC, I can't wait to see it. The local Ford-Lincoln dealer has an MKC parked right in front of the dealership, and it always catches my attention when I drive by it. NNRT
Style of the Concept, not placement on Vehicle (ie: LED lighting)

grbeck
You mean like this picture that's been up on the Lincoln website for weeks now? That's a concept, not the production version. I figure that Lincoln will unveil the production version at one of the big shows next year. Edited December 17, 2014 by grbeck
akirby
Dude - add door handles and change the mirrors to what mkc uses and that is the production version. It's not a "MKX concept" - it's the "2016 mkx concept". Go look at the "MKC concept" compared to the production version.

It's not a "MKX concept" - it's the "2016 mkx concept". Go look at the "MKC concept" compared to the production version. The concept MKC looks like a slightly chopped and lowered version of the production MKC. It wasn't just a matter of changing the rear-view mirrors and adding door handles to make the concept ready for production. jinx8402
Concept:vsProduction: They are virtually Identical like akirby mentioned, save for some detailing and like he mentioned actual door handles and side mirrors. His point is the MKX will virtually look like the "concept" shown, with some minor detail changes and door handles/production style side mirrors. akirby
This ^^^^^. Look at what they did between the MKC concept and production and apply that to the MKX concept. You could do the same thing to the 2015 Edge also. These "concepts" are just slightly stylized pre production prototypes that are 95% of the final product.
