theoldwizard
There are only 2. Non-limited slip and Electronic locking. I assume the electronic locking axle automatically kicks in when it detects one wheel spinning, but is there also a "manual" override for driving on dirt roads (at least up to 40-50 mph). Is this the Eaton axle of some Ford proprietary ? What ring and pinion does it use, 8.8 or ???
dkoppes
I'm not sure about the ring and pinion specs, but I do know if has a manual locking feature. But, this automatically disengages at speeds over 25 mph.
theoldwizard
I am pretty sure it is an 8.8 This option has been avaliable for a few years. Any "real world" feed back ? Edited February 24, 2015 by theoldwizard
