IIRC, they stopped Canyonado production before the banrkuptcy, as the Canyonado factory in Louisiana was included in the "Bad GM" assets, along with all those ignition modules and liability and so on and so forth. So that would mean 5 years or more.

 

August 2012 was when the last one was built, but they where sold into 2013

Silverado/Sierra sales will drop regardless.

 

I think GM brass have resigned themselves to the fact that Ram will be #2 shortly (it already is in Canada). They have given up producing a class leading truck.

 

Better to lose those sales to yourself in a slightly different segment than to Ford or Ram.
