bdegrand
Our local council had to compare a 2015 Chevy HD Silverado vs 2015 Ford F250 4x4 SD R/C. The Ford was about $1700 less however the pro Chevy council member said the Ford needed a spray liner ($500-$600) and after market power converter ($800)....thus making them comparable. This member also said the Chevy will need LESS maintenance than the Ford at 50,000 and up. I have a chance to challenge him but Edmunds comparison website is vague. Does Chevy have power converters as optional? Not sure about the liner either. I thought spray liners are history? fordmantpw
I do know you can get a spray-in liner from Ford for $400 or something. Not sure why they say that's a requirement for Ford but not the Chevy. As far the inverter, it's probably not standard on the GM either. YT90SC
Gas trucks, right? Good luck with that "less maintainance" thing.
SilverLS
$800 for a power inverter is high!
