Flat Rock Assembly

Things are falling apart in flat rock, Tony Bondy (Chairman) just signed over 300 grievances off the books. All so he could get 5 weeks of TLO????? This place has turned into chaos. Plant downtime is insane. Highest breakdown time per car in North America. Looks like things are going to get worse.

Never understood why they added a nightshift back on and sales of the mustang are not record breaking numbers and the fusion is overflow production only. I would say Flatrock will still have downtime even after the new mustang arrives, it still looks like the current mustang, they did not change it enough

That's a pretty wild accusation.

People in prevoius post could have mentioned that Chairman Tony Bondy and his whole bargaining committee have been removed from their positions during the last elections. Charges were brought against the Chairman for accepting and making an agreement that should have been voted on by the membership. A Chairman and all new

bargaining committee have been elected. Chairman Tony Bondy was put back in the production ranks and he accepted a lay off at that time. The build of the 2014 was slow for the last of the model year because anticipation fore new 2015 Mustang. And yes we do build the overflow of Fusions that Mexico

can not keep up with the demand for them. And we only build the "S" and "SE" levels of Fusion. We are presenly (July 23rd) building TT (tooling trials) and I see these vehicles are being put on the regular shipment parking lot like they are being sent to dealerships. I hear talk that preparation for the Lincoln will start during Christmas downtime. Also about half of the FRAP employees will have 30 years in starting 2016 thru 2018. The plant hiring started in 1986.
