KTMsc
Hello all. I have had my 2015 F350 a couple of weeks now, and the e brake chime is driving me crazy. Every time you set it, release it, or shift out of park before releasing it goes off. Is there a way to disable this? I did disable the seat belt chime per the manual, but could find nothing on the e brake chime. Thanks
Larry1013
Makes you wonder if there is a parameter in the SJB for this. I would like to know if there isa programmable parameter for the number of blinks to change lane. 3 just doesn't seem to be enough. I would like to up it to 5 on the new 2015 I have odered. akirby
Don't believe it's configurable. I find that 3 is plenty for the way I use it. If I need more than 3 I hold it down or just turn on the normal blinker.
KTMsc
Well I crawled under the dash and just unplugged the lead going to the e-brake. I expected some lights or warning beeps or something, but so far all is well. The feds probably mandate this stuff, however it would be nice if the end user could decide which warning charms and flashing icons they wish to use and disable those they don't. Othewise I'm loving the new truck.
