danmc Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 It looks like the factory roof rack has a listed capacity of 100lbs for the 2014 Explorer. I think this is less than it was on the 2010's. The reason I care is I'd like to put 2 canoes or a canoe and a kayak up top and clearly the former is going to be over 100lbs and the latter could be close. Anyone know of an upgraded roof rack that may be available to deal with this rather unfortunate change?
