The absolute latest order date for the 2014 F-Series Super Duty would be 01/30/2014 which is listed as the last date to spec change orders. It's important to keep in mind that certain commodities may "balance out" early and not be available at the end of the model year. If you really want a 2014MY F-350 you have a much better chance of getting the truck you want by placing your order earlier rather than later.

Well I went to order a 2015 F-450 Platinum Edition and the Sales Manager at my local dealer tells me that the system will not accept the order code 678A which is the Platinum Package code. Does anyone have any ideas on when this will be available? I am assuming that it due to late availability but any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

All 2015 F-450 Super Duty are noted as "Late Availability" in the current 2015 Super Duty Pick-Up Order Guide. According to the latest FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) the Job #1 Date for the 2015 F-450 w/Trailer Tow is listed as 06/09/2014. There is no information yet as to when the 2015 F-450 series will start scheduling. The CONCEPS ordering system should be updated to accept 2015 F-450 orders when the availability status is next updated.

I ordered my 2015 F-350 in February ,,dealer is telling me mid march building will start and I will have within 4 weeks of that... Any chance this will happen? I have 3 very large trips planned and will need the hitch installed and truck in towing condition....!??

If you don't have a VIN yet then you won't be schedule for a bit. Ford stopped all scheduling of 2015 Superdutys and will resume scheduling them beginning 3/20. If yours is fortunate to get built in March, the "ok to ship" is scheduled for 3/29 (subject to change) so you would be looking at the first couple weeks of April is my best guess. Mine is being built on 3/21, got my VIN about a month ago.

Thanks for that reply... I wonder why they stopped scheduling? If you received your VIN a month ago when did you order?,,

Engine problems, they stopped scheduling so they could fix the issues, once caught up, scheduling will resume.

I ordered mine on 1/16 and received my VIN on 2/9. My VIN might have been available earlier, that was just the day that I inquired about it and was given it. Build date was originally 3/17 and got rescheduled to next Friday, 3/21.

I was told that the order banks were not open till mid February that's why I waited... In fact I was at the dealer and was not able to spec it out... Once I did that , he said that the order would be able to be submitted the next Tuesday , which was I think the 2nd week ?? An you already had your VIN???...

Order banks opened up on 1/15/14 and I placed my order on 1/16. I would have done it on 1/15 but my local dealer (dealt with the manager who does all the ordering) said that my "source" was wrong and showed me on his computer that the 2015 was not available. He then called me back on 1/16 and apologized, he made some phone calls and said that they are able to order but they have to use the "concepts" system which is their older system. That system, they have to type in every option code to build the truck and he was showing me the newer system which is a bunch of just drop downs and check boxes (must easier and faster to build a truck). So I drove back down there and after spending 2 hours going over options and building one, I walked out with my order number.

As i said, I received my VIN on 2/9, build date was 3/17 and changed to 3/21. "ok to buy" is supposed to happen on or around 3/29 so trucks should start shipping out then to dealers.

A few weeks back, Ford stopped scheduling (still accepting orders) because of motor problems they found. They stopped scheduling because they had to fix every engine they built and didn't want a huge backlog until they caught up. Scheduling is supposed to resume on 3/20. Again, you can still place an order with your dealer, it will just sit as "unscheduled - clean" until they start scheduling again.

And to add to the excitement for all of us, Ford is already ready for a power reflash, they are just waiting for Ram to try and 1up Ford's power. They have tested the motor/torque converter to 500hp and 1,000 torque with no issues. I doubt we would see this on the 1st reflash but as the competition keeps trying to power over Ford, Ford will keep going.

WE ARE NOT BUILDING THE 2015 MODELS YET! Our balance out is this friday. We will probably build a few 2015 on friday. I have not heard of any engine problems, but I could be wrong on this. They are telling us that it will take 2 weeks to get up to full production, which means working 50 hrs per week 2 shifts. This is normal on change over.

Question for you Waloud ,

You had stated that you were part of the interior gang (I think)... maybe you could get me some secrete info.... I am trying to find out if ALL the 6.7's..250 , 350 and 450 alike will have the new Exhaust Brake button on the dash and not just the 450... is there any chance you could find that out without getting into trouble ??
