When it comes time for future CAP investment I hope the company doesn't read these forums.

Didn`t you know tooltime? Every penny Ford invests is based on the truths, facts and experience expressed here on Blue Oval...... naaaa I can`t go on... everyone knows the big boys and girls in the glass house just flip a coin or call Bob over at soild house before any investment is made ;)

I would not believe what is happening right now at Chicago Assembly. Coby our Chairman, Carlo the President and the Bargaining Team are telling the LTS's that if they do not vote them as delegates to the Convention that Jimmy Settles will cut them loose. After all the crying about tactics by the Senators in the VW organization drive I can't wait to get a response from the V.P. of the IUAW if he is aware and agrees with these tactics? And yes there are 23 signed names on a formal letter confirming this that is notarized and on it's way to the IUAW head quarters and the NLRB. Shameful that they would lie to these new members, it reminds all of us of the last days of the Chairman in 2010!!!!!

UAW12 get your facts straight, if we do not get voted in to go to the convention to raise dues then all of Chicago Assembly will be in dire straights. Carlo, Coby, Hammer, Fred and Jeff have made it clear that we will stand proudly to raise dues on the members and help protect the membership by being on the IUAW side. That is what elections are all about and the LTS's owe their jobs to us so they should be there to vote to send us to the convention so we can cast votes for the Union dues increase and protect them.

Why not? That's how our chairman got re-elected! Bring in a shitload of LTSs and tell them they'll get hired if he gets elected....even though we know that won't happen since we're going to be laying off! And then telling the folks in the garage that if they don't vote for the chairman that we won't get a new product. OR! Telling the entry levels that you'll be able to protect their jobs if you get re-elected.....

Littlecountry and Langston Hughes if you have not noticed from the lack of reception or respect given, the company top to bottom ignores the IUAW except when they need concessions. They donate to Black Lack upkeep and jacket orders to connected officials and pay for a Lion Share of Sub-Council's and that is the bargain. Henry Ford made the comment once you give the keys to the Executive Dining room to the Union it is over and look at where we are at, 60 years later how right he was! We have officials threatening young members that if they do not vote them in for a union dues increase their jobs will be eliminated, and the reality is the dues increase is for their raises to continue, for their expense accounts to continue and so it goes. The President of the IUAW Bob King said it all months ago when he said there was no future for the Union or raises if transplants were not organized, the VW defeat was the beginning of the end! History will show that the IUAW was an organization that could not except different views of the future of labor and collapsed from its own weight and for those of us that can remember we will tell stories of what was and what might have been.

The company is out for itself and the IUAW is helping the company get richer!

The whole VW thing has nothing to do with us, the UAW is out for itself not the members who pay them!

The whole VW thing has got the UAW wanting to give its members a paycut by raising dues, that right there shows how much they care for its members! It's one thing for the company to want to cut your pay but the people that are suppose to be representing you to avoid pay cuts want to cut your pay themselves just makes no sense!

It is a sad day for all the hard workers at Chicago Assembly, members on LTS status received automated calls last night informing them that their services were no longer needed and they were terminated. Another slap in the face right before the Holidays and the fact that the Union gave them no advance notice and was AWOL to answer questions is not the way to promote being in a Union.

Is anyone keeping any type of record on the exodus or should I say fleeing of personnel here at the garden spot of the universe?

Let see???

HR department..... most - gone

LRO ........ many - gone

Zone Supervisors... some - gone

Process & Industrial Engineers,,, a few - gone

LL6...... ???? - gone

Coverall Supplier.... completely - gone

Hourly Personnel..... on going... - gone

Off Shift Managers..... oney twosy - gone

Plant Managers.... ummm - gone

Most of this list are the drivers of this bus trip we are taking into our futures, ever wonder if we`ll ever reach that nirvana that corporate refers to as the "one team" here at CAP,,, if the bus drivers keep fleeing (escorted off) the bus?

Ahhhh Yes..... the tension is in the air.....

Seems some of the team isn`t feeling... his return.

One thing is for sure, nothing has changed since Larry left, things are still one big fabrication. The numbers will always be number "one".... (truthful naaa just the numbers)

Hmmm,,, wait till he see`s all the promotions that have taken place and then the questions, where is so and so, what happen to this one or that one, who is a M.E. ? really an LL6?

Yes sir reeeee... CAP is still waiting for some one to drive the bus that will get us where we need to be and not rely on the fabricated charts or the third party populated spread sheets that are the norm here in paradise. Because those spread sheets and charts have yet to guide this bus on the right course. Not to mention these road maps seem to help the change over when it comes to bus drivers....

Decker, you are an idiot! Have you not seen the 2016 Explorer? It will sell like cup cakes! Just like the one we are building now!

Yep seen the 2016 Explorer, from the point of the C.A.D. drawings on.

It will sell like "cup cakes"? this coming from a member that has made a few one liners on three or four posts about being so broke he/she will vote for anything because he/she can`t afford to pay attention much less take a day off.... without pay.

Don`t be frightened Chassis Group-leader you will receive strike fund benefit checks. If it comes to that.

You ever work for the same hourly rate for over ten years straight? Ever give up raises and COLA for the retirees? Ever lose holiday pay and environmental relief? Are you one of the 1788 members that stood up to the regional and international rep`s and said with our vote we are against the two tier pay system and concessions? Ever stand up and state that the members in your work group are all humans and do the same work and should be treated equally in all situations, including rate of pay and benefits? Really a "group leader"? Vote yes because "I" can`t afford to fight for you.... leader?

Group leader, I`ve been labeled many times in my "long" time here at CAP so when I read you`re evaluation of my mental capacities I feel your the typical judgement individual and as you don`t know me on a level to be able to come to your consultation with facts, you must be one of those pre judgmental individuals. Being an idiot I wouldn`t know sure but isn`t "pre judgmental" the early stages of prejudiced tendencies?

Chassis... I can say with pride "I" am a leader with many members through my actions I take on a daily basis with the help and caring for others through these action this makes my time here at CAP worth while. I was one of the 1788 that didn`t think of our own financial situations but thought ahead to how members were going to try and be middle class members, on a second class wage. The 1788 thought ahead about how these members were going to support families without the benefits we the first tier or traditional employee`s have. Now it is coming to pass that we the 1788 were correct in our thinking ahead to what we are seeing at present.

So yes, Chassis you are free to label as you see fit but, be aware that you have done a great job of labeling yourself through your one liners and the offering of the information on the financial situation you are in.

It may not mean much, coming from an idiot but, good luck young sister/brother with your self centered view of unionism and that financial situation.

Decker when I said you were an idiot I was referring to your comments regarding the new Plant Manager at Chicago Assembly Plant. I know you are not really an "idiot" and I do enjoy reading many of your comments, some are very informative. As far as I'm concerned I don't fall into the conspiracy theory categories like many of you. I trust the UAW leadership and they have my support!
