Maniac01 Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 My wife's Edge just developed a miss when pressing the accelerator from a stop. Once it gets going all is fine. She has 65,000 miles on it. I am hoping that we just got bad gasoline and it isn't an issue with the spark plugs or fuel pump. David W Hodges Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 Well my friend... Hate to be bearer of bad news, ford has only a tsb, wont recall this issue, every ford with this engine has this issue. The fix... 6 new updated coils, new plugs, new computor for the great price of $3000.
