I really hope the new interior is much better than the current one .. I love the Escape, but I could buy an witch such bad interior ... i did that once (05 Focus) and was not happy with it or myself. I wouldnt doubt those numbers at all considering the engine/trans is the same as the Ranger. I regularly get 26 mpg in mixed driving (yesterdays fillup was 27 ave.)
