Spare Intelligent Access Key?

In the past, I've always bought a spare cheap key and programmed it with my two factory keys so I always had the necessary two programmed keys should I ever loose one of them. With my new Titanium, I have two "intelligent access keys" (IAK). I don't think there is a "cheap" spare key option with this system. Has anyone found a source for an IAK cheaper than the dealership? Surprisingly, I don't even see any on ebay.

BTW, the owners manual states (on page 63): "Programming a Spare Intelligent Access Key. See your authorized dealer to have

additional keys programmed to your vehicle." But, in the pdf file at this link (https://encrypted.go...WzyjgadpebH2pZQ) it explains how you can add a spare IAK if you have two previously programmed ones. The steps (which I have NOT verified) are:

1. Place the new un-programmed intelligent access key in the pocket inside the center console utility compartment.

2. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.

3. Press and release the brake pedal one time.

4. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.

5. Press and release the brake pedal one time. The indicator on the Start/Stop button should begin to rapidly flash, indicating that the programming mode has been entered and two programmed intelligent access keys have been detected in the vehicle.

6. Within one minute, press the start/stop button. A message will be displayed on the message center indicating that the new Intelligent Access Key was programmed. If four intelligent access keys have already been programmed to your vehicle, you cannot program anymore and the message.

A quick google search turns up this site, Dont know anything about them though.

That one isn't exactly the same (note there is no liftgate button). Dang expensive, too.

But, your link added to my knowledge. Apparently the acronym PEPS has something (I haven't figured out what yet) to do with the keys, and using it for a search term brought up this Lincoln key http://www.ebay.com/...e799b12&vxp=mtr that looks correct. The important thing is it's only ~$70. Much more affordable. If that's not the correct one, there's bound to be one available soon.

(Anyone have access to the cards that came with the keys? The FCC ID # that I believe is on one of them will be what is used to tell if it's the correct one. The one on the ebay page is FCC ID M3N5WY8609). EDIT: After checking at home, that is the exact same FCC # as on the Escape key.

I don't think it comes with the emergency key though. What I want to figure out next is where the security chip resides. I think it's part of the fob, not at the head of the emergency key. If that's the case, great, that'll be all I need. You only need one spare key in order to cut the teeth correctly.

You forgot the part where you do the hokey pokey and turn your self around. :D Holy cow that's complicated.

For more information than you want to know about the keyless electronics, check out this pdf file https://encrypted.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=pcf7953&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCEQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sics.se%2Fphys-sec%2F2006%2Fphys-sec_giesler.pdf&ei=3mJ4UJmsIrDDyAGQnYGgDQ&usg=AFQjCNG7SLFEdOuNfN-kD09i_n1ftDkJ3g, and search for PCF7953 (the security chip inside the fob), or just go to page 33 and start reading.
