markfnc
I was in Orlando a week ago for a seminar. I had rented an Economy car from Thrifty. I ended up with a Crown Victoria. I had not driven one in years. It was quiet, smooth and comfortable. I really liked it. I even told my wife we should buy a used one with low milage just to take on trips. I'm 48, so I remember the big cars from the 70's. I learned to drive in a 1975 Buick Estate Wagon, and drove a 1976 Imperial in HS.
dtorres
I drive a Crown Vic at work and am sad to see them go. They are incredibly heavy duty and withstand abuse that would cause most other vehicles to fail. Edited September 9, 2012 by dtorres
ehaase
Many Ford dealerships seem to have the last batch of Crown Victorias fresh from the rental fleets available for sale. This is surely the last opportunity to buy an almost new Panther. I wish I needed a new car now, but I'm not ready to give up my 2004 Crown Victoria with 99,000 miles. I drove a 2011 rental Crown Victoria in Fort Lauderdale back in April and loved it. It felt more heavy duty and had a deeper exhaust than my car. I will need a new car in 2 or 3 years, and frankly Ford has nothing for me.
