99mercntx
its a long story, but the 99merc that had belonged to a relative is now operational but will eventually need a heater core. The exisiting one has no hoses going to it and i can only take that to mean that there was a leak and since it was used in houston, heat was not really a priority. can someone tell me whats involved at replacing it? i would think it would be relatively easy. I believe it requires removing a considerable portion of the dash. I don't think it's easy. Just call the dealership and ask them for the book time and cost to change one. twintornados
Gotta pull the dash to get to it....not a job for the faint of heart.
