The family has a 1998 Mercury Mystique LS Sport in the fold now. She spent her life in Manitoba driving to the store and back twice a week and in a garage. 77000 kms and in pretty good shape.

My request for information and assistance (RFI/RFA) is a recommendation for an audio replacement of the old single DIN cassette player. I'm looking at a SONY unit from Future Shop ($170 CAD on sale) but I don't know how the system sounds if I need new speakers, wiring, amp and maybe a sub.

Any takers? By the way, although it's a 4 auto, the D25 (V6 not the current I4) is still a dream!
