Squeaky suspension or frame E-150

I have a 2006 E-150 cargo van with about 73,000 miles. Great vehicle ,still looks and runs great. The problem I'm having is that the frame or chassis squeaks at low speeds like when going through a parking lot or down a side street. If I rock it by hand it squeaks. I had it in for service at a Lincoln dealer and they said they greased something but weren't sure if it would help. It was quiet for about a month and now it's back. They didn't charge me and said if it comes back to go to a frame specialist. WTF? Is a squeaky suspension something a dealer can't correct. I was going to go to a Ford dealer but the wait list was too long and they referred my to the Lincoln dealer down the street. A little embarrassing driving a nice looking vehicle that squeaks down the street.

Any suggestions?

This sounds like an ignorant and/or extremely lazy dealership. If they greased something, get a grease gun and find the fittings. Very few things under there will have one from the factory. Tie rod ends have been known to squeak badly in other models. It could also be the ball joints or any of the bushings for the I-beams or radius arms. It's not a mystery science that requires a "frame specialist". It's just a matter of shaking the van and having someone under it looking and listening. Whatever is squeaking can then be replaced.

Sounds like they found the problem and applied a temperary fix, with that many miles whatever they greased may need to be replaced.

I kind of thought the same thing. It seems like they found where the problem was but didn't really fix it, just a band aid. Hate to take it back to the dealer and pay not knowing if I'll have the problem again next month. I didn't really lose money on the repair since it was in for something else but I thought they could track it down and do a permanent fix. I don't mind paying for something to be fixed!
