Kind of ironic that Ford is killing off a vehicle that saw a 50% (Ranger) increase for the same month a year ago on a vehicle that has not had an update in over a decade. With high gas prices Ford is going to Lose a lot of business to competitors over this one.....

This may have had something to do with it... Run with 43004 zipcode

Here's my rule of thumb: if cloth seats are standard on *any* vehicle in the lineup, it's not a luxury brand.

Then compile your lists however you see fit. :shades:

Seriously, though, the first few of these I did didn't include Buick or Volvo, and the bitchfits over at GMI derailed the thread and nothing of meaning was discussed. Since then, I started including the borderline brands, although once the Verano and Astra show up in the Buick showrooms, that decision may be revisited.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that everyone that wants a Ranger is trying to snatch it up before they are dead.

I don't believe the Flex has actually had a month recently where it was below 2000....

That was for the benefit of anyone who said the Flex was a failure.

"2000 a month" has now been archived alongside "DOWN GOES BRADY" and " :redcard: ".

CURRENT VEHICLES
2005 Buick Rainier CXL V8, 158K (mine)
2013 Ford Fusion Titanium, 48k (wife's)

PREVIOUS VEHICLES

1999 Nissan Maxima SE Limited, 188K (wife's; donated)

2001 Pontiac Bonneville SLE, 126K (the Cruise Missile; started getting gremlins, plus we outgrew it)

1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD, 111-160K+ (stupid odometer) (sold to make room for the Bonnie)
1995 Dodge Intrepid (wife's; almost everything that could go wrong did; towed away stealthily)

FUTURE VEHICLES?

Some other sort of three-row family hauler (for us)

6th-gen Ford Mustang GT Coupe? (for me)

And there are no 'entry level' luxury brands.

Of course in the Classic Car era, Packards, Lincolns and Cadillacs had leather for the open driver, and cloth for the passengers.

Lincolns from the 50s, 60s and 70s had beautiful plush cloth interiors. Personally I'd like to see it again, Not a fan of leather........surprised it hasn't gone the way of Mink stoles.
