Biker16
What would we like to see in the next TC. better engines drivetrains, of course, but what? EcoBoost? Change the styling? keep it the same? move it upmarket as a niche image vehicle, or keep it to it's roots as a bare bones van. How to make it a better Taxi Add the 7 or 8 passenger version for the US? I would hope the next Van would add some features like a twist beam rear suspension. This would allow for a lower load floor than the current model, better NVH, and a better ride. Next would be upgraded powerpacks for the US market. these could be the power packs being introduced for the new C-max7 and next Escape. 2.5L with the 6 spd 6F35 or the Ecoboost 1.6 being used on the C-max as well. Either combo should boost performance and economy, plus the edition of new gen hybrid or electric power trains from the Focus. what else is missing for the TC. Mackintire
How about both ! Last time I asked, the US TC was scheduled to receive the 1.6 liter EB and a 6 speed auto.....after both were in US production. WC Man
More power without sacrificing efficiency. I've seen aftermaket conversions that look awesome. Would love to see for offer a "family" package with quad buckets and a bench in back, or 6 buckets. The raised roof offers wonderful opportunities for entertainment options. In reality, the interior only needs minimal upgrades as real parents prefer durable over style. I would offer another cross-shop option for minivan/MPV shoppers. Its different enough to not cut into C-max or Edge sales.
theoldwizard
1. About a foot longer. 2. EcoBoost engine or diesel 3. Ability to tow small trailer. Honda is discontinuing the Element, and the Transit Connect could fill that hole nicely with an upgraded engine and transmission which are coming. Adding AWD (which is available on other C1 platforms like Kuga/Escape) would be a bonus. Element owner's had begged for years for a 2,000-2,500 trailer tow rating. I hope Ford fulfills that requirement. Edited October 6, 2011 by theoldwizard

Kike Miami
I would like the diesel option Bigger gas/diesel tank STICK SHIFT Towing capability Only RH sliding door option (less weight that simply locking the door) Pick up version And the extra foot in length could be a good idea too Lower sticker price (honestly $23k is way to much for some applications) Edited December 4, 2011 by Kike Miami
theoldwizard
I would like the diesel option Good possibility STICK SHIFT Not in the US ! Towing capability How much ? Needs to be at least 2,000 lbs to be practical. Pick up version Do they even have something like this in EU ? I would rather have a T6 ! Kike Miami
Courier is based on Fiesta, right? I believe is the older focus not the fiesta, very neat looking, it is not used in Europe, but in south and central america instead http://www.ford.com.mx/Photos/photo408/SSCMEX/FORD/COURIER/2012/2PUU4.JPG That picture is from ford mexico website Edited December 5, 2011 by Kike Miami
Kike Miami
Do they even have something like this in EU ? I would rather have a T6 ! They have that one in South and Central America. Down there is a good city pick up, and is the ranger equivalent. Let´s say a entry level pick up I used to have a ranger, load it with 700# of tile and it was on the floor, and the idea is to make it cheap, $5k less than the ranger´s price tag
