Here's a hint...terminated BC Pena. The tale will be told as public record can unfold the mystery behind the question. Theft WAS proven by Ford Motor Co., the grievance WAS withdrawn at the 3.5 Stage and the buy-off was completed. All facts with supporting documentation. Quite the tainted crew of UAW officials. Why did they go to such extremes to protect one Union "brother" instead of our hardworking Union "family"?

And the interesting twists...Nick's son works with Fred at Magna Intier. Fred is running for Chairman at Magna. Fred gave credit to the "UAW heirarchy" (quote from public record transcript) for helping him secure that position and providing him with his $70,000 buy-off. All this done after Ford Motor proved that he stole and forged three checks of fellow Union brothers AND discharged him for THEFT.

 

And how is it that his grievance was withdrawn at the 3.5 stage AND he still managed to receive $70,000??? ($50,000 buy-out, $20,000 car credit)

 

All facts...public records don't lie.

The whole point is to eleviate the negativity and to weed out what (or who) is not right in our great Union. If you don't know what I'm referring to than it is understandable why you don't know what I'm talking about. But it is a problem that we are experiencing in our plant that you must not work at.

 

Fellow Union brothers and sisters have the right to know the truth. We have the right to know who is representing us. This has been a huge coverup for almost three years. The truth of the situation is finally surfacing. No personal attacks are being posted. No false statements. No rumors or lies. Just facts based on documentation. Just as we have the right to know the truth...you have the right to not read this topic.

 

The negativity will die when the negative leadership is removed and held accountable for their actions.

If you worked at OHAP you would know first hand what he is talking about as most people here do. I thought that Ford took care of that crook by firing him and you would think that with all the proof in hand the union would have backed the company seeing as union members were robbed by a union official. If memory serves me right, didn't he get caught in a sting where he was trying to get money out of someone who was terminated and 'couldn't' get his job back but he could get him a package if he would just walk away?

I'd like to see some of that documentation to see how this went down.

So you have a problem with a past union official at your location and you are compelled to post this on a public web site with potential customers going through these threads and they come across this junior high garbage. This stuff makes us look like dysfunctional union members. We don’t need this negativity on a public web site. We are gaining market share month after month. Stuff like this is really unnecessary.

Your memory is one of urban myth.............there was no sting.........only the sting of your bullshit remarks and slander.

 

Yes.....many people that are fired "actually" did something wrong.............just like Mary Springowski's siblings were fired.............

 

and yes............we get them buyouts afterwards..............this is in agreement for them to drop their grievances......

 

but another point you are incorrect on.............is the fact that these are buyouts..........not buyoffs idiot......

 

Even is someone stole, cheated or lied.............which many brothers and sisters often do for reasons known or unknown............

Ford did fire him for theft and they were able to prove the crime as reports were made internally by the victims, a full investigation was completed by the company and the checks were recovered after being forged and deposited into First Merit bank by BC Fred Pena. Three checks (that can be proven) from fellow union brothers were stolen and forged by their "trusted" union official. (totalling close to $10,000) He admitted to stealing them from the Union Hall. He was terminanated for theft. His grievance was withdrawn at the 3.5 stage. He did receive a buy-out package totaling $70,000 that did NOT include the option of retaining employment.

 

Bob King, Nick Gallogly and Chris Viscome were involved with this "deal/coverup" from the beginning as their names and signatures can be found throughout all the documentation.

 

Per public record, Fred has given credit to the "UAW Heirarchy" for helping him obtain and secure his new position at a nearby UAW represented company where he is now running for Chairman. Many of the documents that can validate these claims are now public record.

I might not have all the facts but I have many. I don't recall Springs brother or sister getting fired for a felony offense. Violating company policy/rules doesn't fall into the same category. I don't recall hundreds of union officials stealing checks from the membership either. It's not a personal vendetta but uncovering this huge coverup that went down. You've made claims in past postings that you're not from our plant but you have taken a personal interest in this topic which comes off as defensive. There are alot of people in our plant that want the truth for different reasons. Maybe you're one of the officials mentioned above? WTF?

Level brother no disrespect but your a international rep and your not in the plant. Since you want facts heres some. Theres a lot of us that are pretty pissed off about this deal. There had to be some kind of deal cut with the company and the union because the company don't do nothing for free and we're gonna be the ones paying for it. Everyone at OHAP pretty much knows that this asshole stole money from people getting packages if they were taking it voluntary or because they got fired. Then he goes and steals checks from people who retired. What kind of person does this? Why is it still a issue? Because his brother is our standards rep and our standards are fubar and its got a lot of us wondering if this was also part of the deal. He steals and gets caught and then gets a nice chunk of change and is working at another UAW plant and is going to run for chairman there? And this is stuff that Fred is saying! He doesn't hide it! Its almost like he's proud of it. He was telling some of us that he was actually trying to get his job at our plant back. The facts are that this is bullshit. I just found out that this stuff is public record now so I'm going to find that public record and see the facts myself. Trying to throw other people under the bus like you did is just wrong. How do we trust someone like you now whos a rep but is taking sides? Pretty biased! These guys may be friends of yours but they are no good. Let Fred fight his own battle. Don Rowe isn't at OHAP. I don't know where he is. But I don't think this is racial. How? If you stole something then you stole something. Charges and jail time? That's what a lot of us want to know. If its public record then we can see what happened. It isn't racial. I never heard of anybody else stealing money from their own union people. We all heard of people stealling from the company and getting fired. But stealing from your own people? the race card is stupid and a joke. Whats next? He's gonna find Jesus?

Brother I think you got it wrong. Don Rowe doesn't work at Avon and he didn't steal anything from the membership. What I was told was he doubledipped or something but paid it back. Pena actually stole checks from hourly people getting a package. You can go to the justice center clerk of courts and look at the file. They even had a copy of one of the checks Pena signed. I didn't know they brought in some writing expert but they did. I don't know if you can get copies of it but I wanted to read it myself and it was there. He admitted it to. Don Rowe and Fred Pena are different cases. Its all there. Its some pretty freaky s**t.

I have a relative that works at Livonia Trans and he told me about a year ago or longer that an hourly employee got caught stealing paychecks from the supervisors desk. I don't remember if he was caught in the act or after the fact and it may have been more than once. But they caught him and fired him. And I don't know if there were charges filed with Livonia police or not but, just a few months ago, he was reinstated and got some gravy job somewhere in the plant.

The way the story goes is....Don was scheduled to his union rep. job during the holiday period...reported his hours as if he was in the shop....when he was seen in Las Vegas by someone from personnel....he was offered a chance to change his hours and refused...he was then "fired". I call this a story because I wasn't in Vegas or in the shop during the holiday....but that is how it was told to me....I heard he went to Brookpark....but I don't know if that is true or not.
