carforford Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 My dad traded in a 1998 Explorer 5.0 AWD yesterday afternoon on a 2010 MKS Rapid Spec 190A EcoBoost. The power is incredible. The build date was 12/10/09 It is Tuxedo Black w/black interior. My dad didn't want the moonroof or the navigation system and so the dealer located it. I will try to post some pics when I can. The line guys did a great job on this one. I am thinking when the Milan comes off lease to get a SHO. I like the larger MKS/Taurus in terms of space. brucelinc Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 If you think the power is incredible when it is new and tight, wait until it is loosened up a bit with some miles. That ecoboost engine makes the MKS a rocket. I am more impressed with mine everytime I drive it. I have always preferred V8s but the ecoboost is the best combination of smooth idle quality, seductive growl, and low-end torque I have ever experienced.
