fllcobra
How did VW get away with using "MkV" for their new GTI? VW has the same chrome nose at the Explorer and is now using the same Mark naming scheme in their cars. I think it is a little too close for comfort. Opinions? 68Cougar
Any car company can use "Mark". In Europe, that's how they show generations in cars.

VW/Audi had the chrome nose before Ford, and has been using the Mark designation since the 70s.
fllcobra
Maybe they should sue Ford. lol :P Indeed. Isn't one of Ford's executives a recent aquisition from VW? Maybe that explains the strong VW resemblence.
