Michael Reynolds
http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...002/1041/PHOTOS What good is a low content version going to do? Try better styling and a stronger engine first.
NickF1011
What good is a low content version going to do? Try better styling and a stronger engine first. I thought low content was the problem to begin with -- as in being low 2 cylinders under the hood.
marc-o
hehehe... Well the RL needs a V8 and true RWD... that's never been a secret. As it is, it competes with the TL, which is about 30hp less, has many similar features and looks just as good. The price difference just isn't justified, no surprise there. Because the TL is pushing up the mid-level cars in their lineup, the RL needs to move higher up to really compete, but that requires a real luxury car, not something built big FWD-based platform. bec5150
Like I put in the "other" thread. The Acura RL is a very popular car. It an outstanding car, selling quite well. Of course, the model names are a little different and the price is a little lower: Avalon, Legacy H-6, Accord EX V6, just to name a few. kevinb120
After working at the number 1 Acura dealership in the nation(world), I beg to differ on how well they sell. We give them away, most below invoice.
bec5150
Kevin, reread my post, it was sarcastic, stating the cars sells...but as an Accord, etc.
