Oasis Report

Actually that information is not for public use, and not to leave the Dealership.

hmmm, when I bought a used car the salesman told me that they legally have to give you a copy. They pulled one one car that had been in the shop 14 times so I decided to pass on that one. What reason would there be not to make that "public", maybe it is different by state? They have carfax and things like that tell you the same thing!

Here is the report:

Build date 5/2/06

In service date 8/31/06

3/29/07 low oil pressure regulator replaced

3/15/07 engine bed plate leaking (had to remove engine for repairs) replaced bad ICP module

fuel tank filling tube replaced

12/12/06 replaced trans cooler

11/06/06 front sway arm found loose and tightened

2 front 4X4 hubs seized (replaced)

Would you steer clear based on these issues? I left a small deposit on the truck and the purchase is contingent upon the OASIS report. Should I try to haggle the price down or would these issues scare you away?

The truck has 15k miles on it and I can buy it for $33.5k. It's a long bed Lariat F-350.

Thanks.
