cougarexp
Ford's Intelligent 4 wheel drive on the newer Escapes/Mariners... does it really work? Does anybody have any experience? Is there a way to manually turn it on? I have the AUTO position on my Explorer but the 4-wheel drive never engages as described although it's supposed to be less sensitive than the Intelligent 4 wheel. I always have to switch manually - which I prefer. This way I know it's on.
wildosvt
You have either AUTO or off on the escape IIRC. Auto- it kicks in and you dont feel it.HBut it kicks in only when the front wheels slip. off-obvious
hoss96racing
I know my 02 escape feels bad when in bad weather and you have to put it in full time for it to go straight down the road....
JustAnotherAssembler
I have a 1 1/2 month old 2006 mariner, and it has this feature. It's great. I had a Focus previously, and I can definitely tell when this kicks in. I absolutely LOVE IT! THANK YOU KCAP!
