So the tree huggers dont go hog wild this truck is strictly for commercial use. The 2009 Ford Excursion is the transporter among transporters. Can Carry up to 14 construction Workers including there tool belts.

Something to replace our 2007 Ford Expedition EL in the next couple of years, that can tow around 10,000 pounds, seat at least 7 comfortably and has all or some of Ford's latest tech (MFT, trailer sway, trailer brake controller, BLIS, adaptive cruise control, etc.).  Maybe the next gen Expedition or possibly the 2014 Transit (doubt it will be rated to tow over 7000 pounds, but you never know).

Its out of proportion IMO. The doors need to stretch out a bit and the grill is way OTT. And whats with the wheels?

thats nice! what engine is it getting? power stroke diseal i assume. they dont make the v10 anymore do they?

Looks like a Super Duty Crew Cab with a matching cap. Notice the body line running vertical of the rear doors from bottom to top....def not an Excursion.

But not to be negative, I like the way it looks, love that grille....in your face toyota!

yes lets rise against toyota, seriously, ford and GM need to stop comparing their vehicles, but compare it to toyotas and how they suck
i used to hate GM vehicles, but now i can care less, i HATE toyota for thinking they are now American, TOYOTA does not sound like your from around here boy!

Nope. Went from the best looking trucks ever made (05-07 SD) to THIS????? Ew.

I love the looks of the '08 Super Duty and will be trading my '00 Excursion in on an '08 F450 soon. I like the bolder grill and the Super Duty Badging.

After seeing them in person, it's really not nearly as in-your-face as it appears in photos. Sure, it's definitely noticable, but it's not offensive in the least. After all, these are 1-ton+ trucks. It's supposed to look big and mean.

One the most sought after used cars right now is diesel Excursions. People are paying top dollar for them (look on ebay). Since the E-Series can't fit the new 6.4 diesel, I think it would be smart for build to bring back the Excursion, except call it an "F250 SuperWagon" or something like that, just stay away from the "Excursion" name.

Well I'm a treehugger and not everything or everyone fits into the '09 Transit Connect or Explorer. This fits well as part of the 450-550 beef.

I did find a good close-up of a 2008 Ford E-150 with black grill yet looks good on this hauler. I think the Excursion's lighting is too soft.

This truck is actually here in San Antonio (Selma to be exact). I see it everyday on my way to work parked in front of Xtreme Altitude truck shop. Looks even better in person. Funny note...upon reading the article, I know these people. Not personally of course, but they are....'different'! LOL
