Paul Selby
I like the regular Charger and the Charger Daytona R/T but this SuperBee looks like it got raped by Pep Boys. IMHO the SuperBee stickers and hood scoop don't look right on this car. Maybe the real thing will look better. Would be nice if you could get a normal looking Charger with this engine. The little curly q on the super bee stripe is goofy. That stripe is supposed to go over the deck lid side to side not down the fender. Its just a little too big too. Maybe just a super bee logo without the stripe would look better.
Me
I had a real, honest to God Super Bee. A '69 w/ 440 and 727, ram charger hood and side scoops. THAT was a cool car. This new thing, nahh....
Hemiman
Man that Charger just doesn't do it for me. Like the Ford 500, I want to like it, I just don't. I'll take the Challenger!

calypsocoral
Man that Charger just doesn't do it for me. Like the Ford 500, I want to like it, I just don't. I'll take the Challenger! I'm in the opposite camp. I think Dodge went too retro with the Challenger concept. It looks like a greatest hits parade of the 1970-1973 Challengers, with shortened overhangs. There is nothing modern-looking about it whatsoever. The Charger, on the other hand, creates a new category for the American muscle car (as did the Magnum), and errors on the modern side in its design. The Charger looks like a car from this decade, but borrows both concept and styling cues from the 1968+ Chargers of yore. There's the quad headlamps, for example, and the kicked-up tail end. While these retro cues may seem spare, where the Charger really shines is the fact that it provides a spacious package, room for four adults, handles nicely, and thumps out gobs of torque. The Charger is now what the Charger was in the late 1960's. The Challenger concept seems to appeal strictly to the Mopar Mullet crowd who want an original Mopar musclecar but can't afford the auction prices. Me
Was it a Charger? Uhh, no, it was a Super Bee. Super Bee is to Coronet as Road Runner is to Satellite.
